General Information / Introduction
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and this Privacy Policy.
In collaboration with our hosting providers, we strive to protect our databases as much as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may be subject to security risks. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of data as described below. In general, this website can be visited without registration. Data such as the pages accessed, the names of files accessed, and the date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without being directly linked to you personally. To the extent that personal data (such as name, address, or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis whenever possible. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent.
Processing of Personal Data
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. A data subject is a person whose personal data is being processed. Processing encompasses any handling of personal data, regardless of the means or methods used, including, in particular, the storage, disclosure, collection, erasure, retention, alteration, destruction, and use of personal data.
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Where and to the extent that the EU GDPR applies, we also process personal data on the following legal bases in conjunction with Art. 6(1) GDPR:
lit. a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
lit. b) Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject as well as for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.
lit. c) Processing of personal data for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or under the applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is wholly or partially applicable.
lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
lit. f) Processing of personal data to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties, unless the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the data subject prevail. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims, and compliance with Swiss law.
We process personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the relevant purpose or purposes. Where longer-term retention requirements apply due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict processing accordingly.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that allow specific, user-related information to be stored on the user’s device while the user is browsing the website. In particular, cookies enable us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of the pages, analyze patterns of website usage, and make our website more user-friendly. Cookies remain stored beyond the end of a browser session and can be retrieved when you visit the site again. If you do not wish this to happen, you should configure your internet browser to refuse cookies.
A general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can be submitted for a wide range of services—particularly regarding tracking—via the U.S. website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Additionally, you can prevent cookies from being stored by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that in this case, not all features of this website will be available.
With SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Third-party services
This website may use Google Maps to embed maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA to protect against bots and spam, and YouTube to embed videos.
These services provided by the U.S.-based company Google LLC use cookies, among other things, which results in data being transferred to Google in the United States; however, we assume that, in this context, no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website.
Google has committed to ensuring adequate data protection in accordance with the U.S.-EU and U.S.-Swiss Privacy Shield frameworks.
For more information, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
Contact Form If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, we will store the information you provide in the form, including the contact details you enter there, for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case we have follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.
Newsletter If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need your email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No further data is collected. We use this data exclusively to send the requested information and do not share it with third parties.
After you have given your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, you may revoke this consent at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe link” in the newsletter.

If you wish to exercise this right to rectification, you may contact our Data Protection Officer at any time.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)
Any data subject whose personal data is being processed has the right to request that the controller of this website immediately erase the personal data concerning them, provided that one of the following grounds applies and the processing is no longer necessary:
The personal data was collected or otherwise processed for purposes for which it is no longer necessary.
The data subject withdraws the consent on which the processing was based, and there is no other legal basis for the processing
The data subject objects to the processing for reasons arising from their particular situation, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing in the case of direct marketing and related profiling
The personal data has been processed unlawfully
The erasure of the personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member States to which the controller is subject
The personal data was collected in relation to information society services offered that are directed directly at a child
If any of the above reasons apply and you wish to request the erasure of personal data stored by the operator of this website, you may contact our data protection officer at any time. The data protection officer of this website will ensure that the request for deletion is complied with immediately.

The processing is unlawful, the data subject objects to the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of the use of the personal data
The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject needs it for the establishment, The data subject has objected to the processing for reasons arising from their particular situation, and it has not yet been determined whether the legitimate interests of the controller override those of the data subject
If any of the above conditions apply, you may contact our Data Protection Officer at any time to request the restriction of the processing of personal data by the operator of this website. The data protection officer of this website will arrange for the restriction of processing.
Right to Data Portability
Any data subject whose personal data is being processed has the right to receive the personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Furthermore, the data subject has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another controller, provided this is technically feasible and does not infringe upon the rights and freedoms of others.
To exercise the right to data portability, you may contact the data protection officer designated by the operator of this website at any time.
Right to Object
Any data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them.
In the event of an objection, the operator of this website will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
To exercise your right to object, you may contact the data protection officer of this website directly.
Right to withdraw consent under data protection law
Any individual affected by the processing of personal data has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map feature conveniently. When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. This occurs regardless of whether you are logged in to a Google account or do not have a Google account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for this data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before clicking the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or to tailor its website to your needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to deliver targeted advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google, as well as further information on your rights in this regard and settings options to protect your privacy, please visit: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; “Google”). The purpose of this service is to distinguish whether an entry is made by a human or through automated, machine-based processing. The query involves the transmission of the IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and processed there. However, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA is not merged with other Google data. Your data may also be transferred to the U.S. in this process. For data transfers to the United States, there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the “Privacy Shield.” Google participates in the “Privacy Shield” and has committed to its requirements. By submitting the query, you consent to the processing of your data. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to withdrawal.
Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and the associated privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the entity responsible for data processing on this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, data processing by Google Analytics is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google.”
The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offerings and make them more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. If you have a Google user account, you can disable cross-device analysis of your usage in the settings there under “My Data,” “Personal Data.”
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended with the code “_anonymizeIp();” to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses. This means that IP addresses are processed in a truncated form so that they cannot be linked to a specific individual. If the data collected about you can be attributed to a specific person, this is immediately ruled out and the personal data is deleted without delay.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the U.S., Google has submitted to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Disable Google Analytics.
In addition, you can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Disable Google Analytics. This will store a so-called opt-out cookie on your device, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that deleting all cookies on your device will also delete these opt-out cookies; therefore, you must set the opt-out cookies again if you wish to continue preventing this form of data collection. The opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and must therefore be activated separately for each browser, computer, or other device.
Google Web Fonts
This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure consistent font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into its cache to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font from your computer will be used.

Facebook
This website uses features provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. When you visit our pages that contain Facebook plugins, a connection is established between your browser and Facebook’s servers. In the process, data is already transmitted to Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, this data may be linked to it. If you do not want this data to be linked to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting our site. LinkedIn
We use the marketing services of the social network LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”), within our online platform.
These services use cookies, which are text files stored on your computer. This allows us to analyze your use of the website. For example, this allows us to measure the success of our advertising and display products to users that they have previously shown interest in.
For example, information is collected about the operating system, the browser, the previously visited website (referrer URL), the web pages visited, the offers clicked on, as well as the date and time of your visit to our website.
The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is transmitted in pseudonymous form to a LinkedIn server in the United States and stored there. LinkedIn does not store the name or email address of the respective user. Rather, the aforementioned data is assigned only to the person for whom the cookie was generated. This does not apply if the user has permitted LinkedIn to process data without pseudonymization or has a LinkedIn account.
You can refuse the use of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that you may then not be able to use all features of this website. You can also object to the use of your data directly with LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
We use LinkedIn Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. All LinkedIn companies have adopted the Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure that data transfers to the U.S. and Singapore, which are necessary for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the services, are carried out in a lawful manner. When we ask users for consent, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Otherwise, the legal basis for the use of LinkedIn Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Audio and Video Conferencing
We use audio and video conferencing services to communicate with our users and others. In particular, we use these services to conduct audio and video conferences, virtual meetings, and training sessions such as webinars.
We only use services that ensure an adequate level of data protection. In addition to this Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of the services we use—such as terms of use or privacy policies—also apply.
In particular, we use Zoom, a service provided by the U.S.-based company Zoom Video Communications Inc. Zoom also grants users in Switzerland the rights set forth in the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information on the nature, scope, and purpose of data processing, please refer to Zoom’s Privacy Policy and the “Legal and Privacy” page on their website.
Brokerage Services We process the data of our customers, clients, and prospective clients (collectively referred to as “customers”) in accordance with the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, DSG) and the EU GDPR, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, in order to provide them with our contractual or pre-contractual services. The data processed in this context, its type, scope, and purpose, as well as the necessity of its processing, are determined by the underlying order. Generally, this includes customer master data (name, address, etc.) as well as contact information (email address, phone number, etc.), contract data (order details, fees, terms and conditions, information regarding the brokered companies/insurers/services), and payment data (commissions, payment history, etc.). We may also process information regarding the characteristics and circumstances of individuals or objects belonging to them if this is part of our mandate. This may include, for example, details regarding personal circumstances, movable or immovable property.
As part of our engagement, it may also be necessary for us to process special categories of data as defined in Article 9(1) of the GDPR, in this case specifically information regarding a person’s health. To this end, we will, where necessary, obtain the client’s explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a), Article 7, and Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR.
If necessary for the performance of a contract or required by law, we disclose or transfer customer data in connection with coverage inquiries, the conclusion and execution of contracts, to providers of the brokered services/products, insurers, reinsurers, broker pools, technical service providers, and other service providers, such as cooperating associations. e.g., cooperating associations, as well as financial service providers, credit institutions, and investment companies, as well as social security agencies, tax authorities, tax advisors, legal advisors, auditors, insurance ombudsmen, and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) or the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). In addition, we may engage subcontractors, such as sub-brokers. We obtain the consent of customers when this is necessary for the disclosure or transfer of customer consent (which applies, for example, to special categories of data under Article 9 of the GDPR).
Data is deleted once statutory warranty obligations and similar obligations have expired, and the necessity of storing the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In all other respects, statutory retention requirements apply. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, data is deleted once such obligations have expired.
